I use to raise rabbits inside with my hens and no boty ever got hurt, Make sure you build a hide out for the rabbits just incase the hens get a little ansy over food or sominthing.

downside, Rabbits dig out of almost all pens that dont have wired floors. Also you need to make sure the rabbits are getting enough "rabbit" food to keep them healthy. It want hurt the rabbits to eat chicken food but they need the vitamens in rabbit food to keep them alive,

hope this helps ya,

My rabbit herds my chickens. He got pecked in the eye too, and I had to bring him inside for a few days to recover. His quality of life seems so much better than being stuck in a hutch though, and him and the chickens snuggle up together at night.

My flemish giant (see other post for pics) tolerates some chickens. But, she doesn't tolerate roos. She gives them a warning growl, then she thumps her feet...She's likely to put a hole in the floor!!
The key is to put the rabbit with the chickens, not the chickens with the rabbit. Bunnies are very territorial...Just like when you breed you put the doe with the buck...Does are much more territorial, but bucks don't tolerate other males (haven't had any experience with putting bucks with chickens)
Be aware that there may be sqwables (sp?) because they're new to each other. I would watch your hens, as my Silkie hen is MEAN to my bunnies. She will literally attack my holland and mini lop rabbits. My flemish fares so well because she's huge.
MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THEM AT ALL TIMES!! Either the chicken or the rabbit might freak and attack the other!

Bantymum keeps rabbits and chickens together. You should click on user list, find her, and look at her website. I think they all get along really well together (the chickens even eat the rabbit poo!!!!)
