Would this be predator proof

I saw this run online for sale, i was wondering if it would be predator proof if I used hardwear mesh instead of the chicken wire?

You are definitely right about the HWC instead of chicken wire. And you'd need to secure it at the bottom to keep predators from digging underneath it. But I do think it could made into a great amd secure run, especially if it's a good price.

I'll add that I'm very new, so others may have different ideas.

Yes with some modifications that will be perfectly safe for them. There are some threads/articles I remember seeing around where people modify those. I would recommend trying to find a couple to read through before committing to buying it. What predators do you have to deal with?

Predators I could have to deal with are pinemartens and foxes, yes I will look for the articles about the run.

The gap around the door also needs to be addressed. I've seen it done with wood attached to the pipe with pipe clamps.
No need to take the chicken wire off - just add the hardware cloth over it.

I think it looks like a great frame! Hardwire cloth on the sides/top, and apron to keep anyone from digging in.

The biggest challenge will probably be eliminating the gaps around the door, that a predator could squeeze through.

As long as you're able to make the safety modifications, I'd jump on it. I've looked at runs very much like that one, and they aren't cheap. Even with making necessary modifications, if you still save money, it's worth it.

Yes, I am putting hardwear cloth on the floor of the run. The run will be brand new and is cheaper as the box got wet. I might have to make a new door but we'll see.

Be really careful with this. I dug out my run and put down hardware cloth (trying to deal with a rat problem). Despite burying it several inches down, just two freeze/thaw cycles pushed it up to the surface in several places!
