Would this Black Jack product work?

Sealing a wood floor can be done with lacquer. A quart should cover 5x8 and use a cheap brush as you'll never get it clean again.

The deeper your liter the less need you have of sealing the floor.

Would lacquer make it slick? Would it get sticky in my high humidity environment?

Quote: Good questions....I don't think lacquer is waterproof.

Not sure about the product you linked...I would assume that most roofing products are very similar, but I would suggest that you ask JackE as he has researched it.

Thank you. I'll message him directly when I get home.

Lacquer is a sealer/top coat. It's not meant to coat the bottom of a swimming pool but holds up. We're just talking about keeping the inside floor from rotting right? Lacquer will do that and not peal up.

But it does have the potential to get rather wet......one spilled waterer might do it in.
