A friend of mine has full size RIR hens.
She heard that I was looking to rehome my 6 week serama cockerel chick and asked if she could have him.
She doesn't have any roosters.
Would this ever work out?
When would be the time to introduce him to her flock (he'll never be even close to their size).
Shes looking for a in charge / keep the flock behaving cockerel/rooster. Shes not looking to breed (obviously).

He probably won't be in charge, unless the hens are unusually docile and laid back. From what I've heard of them, RIRs do not meet that description. That said, they should get along as long as he respects the ladies.

That's what I thought and mentioned to her.
She thought because he was a rooster he'd control them but i thought size would still make a big difference.
Far more likely that a Serama would be beaten up by the established RIR flock.  No way is a Serama going to control full size hens - especially RIR.

He might when he's all grown up.....but long time before that happens.

She's better off finding a full grown LF rooster....hopefully one that's not being rehomed due to human aggressiveness.
