For the price, I would think a nicer one could be built.

You would even have to fix it up for ventilation, and put in roosts.

Yeah, and I think the silver insulation would entice pecking and eating of the insulation. I would skip it. Do you have a shed builder nearby? They make really nice dog houses, and usually for a little more they will add the extra window and hole for vents, probably cost less than $150 (that's the quote I got from mine for a 4x6 dog house). Ditto to the above posts, AND you'd have to cut more holes in it for light and egg access PLUS probably build a roost and nest area inside. I'd hate to wash off the dog poo as well.
You can find a better one.

Thats to much I think for what you are getting. Keep looking on craigslist for materials and maybe build your own if you can (you can do it yourself a lot cheaper) We built ours for under $400 mainly off materials from craigslist.
