I have a mixed flock most have been bought from tractor supply so nothing fancy. I have jersey giants, silkies, a buff orp, a blue laced Wyandotte, a buff orp cochin mix, and a silkie frizzle. Those are all my hens and I have a Cochin rooster. Please be completely honest and tell me if you would buy chicks from a flock like this! Here are some pictures of my flock. The chicks in the pictures are from my flock.

Mutts are beautiful! Folks in my area have no problem selling them, though the price is usually a little lower than purebred chickens. The way you've advertised them, with a good list of the breeds and nice photos, is perfect! It's always fun to see what the chicks turn out like.

I likely wouldn't be a customer, but only because I look for breeds with higher egg production for my small backyard flock.

In my area, which is very farmy, people have a lot of trouble selling random mixes.
Craigslist and FB groups are full of BYM listings that seem to continually renew.

I will note there's a difference between random mixes and purpose bred mixes. If there's some logical intentionality towards making the mix they sell much easier.
* Like Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Fibro Eggers, Free Range Meat Birds, etc.

Since I'm working on an ambitious breeding project, I often have mixes available. Some sell easier than others. Less common colors such as Lavender, Chocolate, Mottled, are really easy to find homes for.

And the thing is, my market will support good prices for desirable stock. I don't have trouble with purebreds at all, I can usually pick and choose the customer based on how good a home I think it sounds.
But mixes often enough mean weeks waiting for a bite, if any come at all. Which means more feed costs, which means zero money recouped (not "made").
