so, i am thinking about processing one of my hens who always has a dirty bottom. i THINK it is because she lays really big eggs and is um, perhaps a bit 'slack' (prolapse?). her poo is normal, no diarreah, has been like this for a long time and is the only one.
she grosses me out though to look at her... so i'm thinking about processing her with the meat birds. would you eat a dirty bottomed chicken with no other signs of illness?
i have never de-wormed FYI.. but also have never seen signs and no other chickens have it.
