I was planning to enter the baking and preserving ones. I thought entries were open for a while yet though - seems very early to decide there's a lack of interest, unless I've got the dates wrong?

No, they took it down and they told me to get at least 10 people for them to re-open it. It would end Aug 30??? I think.

It is too early to seem for lack of interest! That's why I started a thread.

I don't know about canning, but if there was one "Cooking" contest I'd enter, and if they had enough entries to break it up into those three categories that'd be cool but if not I think amongst us all there would at least be enough competition for a #1, #2, & #3 Home Cook.
