Would You Go For This Deal? FREE CHICKENS!!!!!

I was wondering how many chicken owners would go for this deal... I am not trying to find the other end of the deal here just hypothetically asking.

My coop is way back in a field and I cannot run electric there. I don't live on the farm it is located on so I am not able to "bring them down near the house". Would you take in 10 laying HEALTHY rhode Island red hens keep 5 of them for free!!! and return the other 5 to me in the spring when the weather warms up a bit? I would pay for the feed for my 5 for the few months they would be there.

Basically you would get 5 free chickens!

What do you guys think?

Forgot to add that i WOULDN"T know the person! I would just be doing this through craigslist or kijiji.

Yeah I'd do it as long as I could keep them seperate from my existing flock for a while. That is a lot of chickens to consider.

I don't think I would trust anyone with my chickens that I didn't know

How cold does it get where you are - chickens don't necessarily need heat

Maybe someone you know could keep them for a little while .

Who would get the eggs while I boarded them for you? You or me? Sounds like a good deal other than that point. Are you really thinking up a way to sublet egglaying services? I think that is ok but you would have me in charge of "playas"
