Ummm, sorry but, I see them as one and the same .... Per say. Because the tech for a/c & heat are also for food preservation, materials fabrication, and materials creation's. So w/out a/c there wouldn't be cryo-genics, food storage aside from salt or smoked & dried. The idea of a kiln would also be lost as would the manufacture of all metals which all require heating.

So.... Anyone see a flow in my perspective?

Ooh, that's a hard one! Probably the former -- then my chickens could tell me what hurts when they're sick or injured. I wouldn't be able to comfort them by speaking to them, but I'd still be able to do other things, like stroke their feathers or give them a treat.
