Wound care?

A stray rooster that comes to our house every morning was attacked by one of our dogs this morning. He's bleeding beneath his wing which could either be from bite, scratch, or perhaps his feathers being pulled out. Since he's stray, I can't put my hands on him, but now that he's injured I can get close enough to use a spray ointment. Any suggestions on what to use? I worry about infection. I don't see any gaping holes and he can still flap his wings so it seems he will heal if nothing goes wrong. Thanks in advance

You could use Blue Kote it's a purple spray available at Tractor Supply or farm supply stores. Good Luck
