Wound on my hen

What is the best way to care for this wound on the back of our hens neck?

I would use Poultry Aid spray in the spray bottle to put on your hen's wound. Keep her seperated from the flock. My fav. hen has had wounds and I have found this very helpful. Good luck, and hope she is better soon!

I'd clean it with some warm water, and then apply some antibiotic ointment (without any painkiillers or "caine" ingredients). You can also spray an antiseptic spray called BlueKote on the wound. Keep her isolated from other birds until it is mostly healed, or she may be pecked at.
