Recently a hawk swooped into our backyard and attacked our big alpha hen. The hawk ripped most of the frontal feathers off of it, and exposed some organs with skin ripped off. The chicken recently has been recovered from shock, and is stable now. All organs are still in tact, not bleeding, and in the right spot. The only issue is that the chickens neck is now raw, the lower parts of its wings are gone, and its stomach is slightly visible. Does anyone have any tips to close this open wound. The chicken is getting better mental wise, and laid an egg this morning.
