Wounded Chicken

My hen was attacked by a dog a couple of days ago. I couldn’t find her after the attack but she miraculously came home yesterday morning. She has an ugly wound on her back and under her wing. I irrigated the wound with Dakin’s solution and am applying vetericyn plus two times a day. I will pick up some medical honey today. She is in the house and is eating and drinking. Should I continue to use the Dakin’s daily. Any input would be appreciated.

I'd suggest cleaning the debris, dried blood off the wound, & cut away feathers around the wound, so we can have a better look at it?

A Vet assistant friend came by and we determined the wounds were too severe. He put her down.
