Wounded Guinea - Blood on ceiling in Chicken House - HELP !

I have 6 guineas that have been together for over 6 months. Today I noticed that one of them had blood under the wing. I got it in the chicken house to catch it and put some blue-kote on the wound. I then saw that there was quite a bit of blood on the ceiling above the roots in the chicken house. No animal could have gotten in to do this.

1. Do I remove the injured guinea? It seems to be fine and the wound has been treated.

2. What the heck is going on and how do I prevent it from happening again?

Sounds like a little fighting went on within your group of guineas. Be sure that they have ample space and also plenty of food at all times. It is almost mating time depending on your guinea zone and there may also be too many boys in the area. hope this helps and have a good one. Nany
