Today while clipping the wings on one of my hens, she suddenly jerked and flinched as we were cutting and we ended up cutting a remarkable amount of flesh off the tip of her wing. it was a clean cut, so once it stopped bleeding I put some bacitracin on it, and isolated her by putting her in a dog carrier in the house, in an effort to keep the wound clean and dry. She seems comfortable, and is eating. Is there anything else I should be doing for her at this time? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe sling the wing by taking Vet Rap or any non-sticking wrap that you could wrap around her wing and body under the other wing and back around again. Make sure you keep it separated from the flock. You need to keep the wing from moving around so it will heal. It also may be only a bad sprain so in a week see if the wing feels better after the trauma of the injury has passed.
