HOLY COW...er... CHICKEN!!!

When I took over BYC it wasn't even coming up in search results on Google (because the site had been down so long). Well after a lot of work getting the site back up it went back to (what I believe was its previous rank) #3 for the search term "chickens".

Well, I just checked last night and www.BackyardChickens.com is #1 on Google for the search term "chickens"!!!

I'm going to try to work really hard to keep it #1 so everyone around the world can find this great resource and amazing community!

1) Send articles and content to be posted on the site (info about chickens, articles, coop info, pictures, etc.)
2) Provide feedback on the site
3) Tell friends about BYC

This seems like the spot to ask this question that has been bubbling in my mind.... Do you have a page I can print out and post at my feed stores (I'm kinda cute so I can talk them into it) (eyes fluttering) to do some active recruiting in my area? I'd love to bring in more people!!!!

Thanks for the kudos...I wanted something you guys would approve of with any important info etc. I was getting jeleous of all the people who have found others from this site close to them and they can meet up and stuff... so I wanted the same!!! I think you are correct about the great ideas on the contest thread... I am so impressed with the imagination that everyone here has. I can't wait to see the winner!!!
