Wow, 3 free laying hens on our craigslist, and I cant get them

I shouldnt have read our craigslist in Lincoln Nebraska, cuz yesterday, there are 3 free laying hens listed. Arghh! I DO wish I was NOT in the city!

We picked up a couple of "great laying hens" here in our area. They gave the rest of our flock mites, one died of ? the the others were past prime laying age by a good bit.
So look on the bright side you probable didnt miss out on much.
