Wow it is so cute. It appears to also be standing on its extra feet. I do believe I read about another 4 legged chick on here a little while back. But I believe its extra legs didnt reach the ground. I wish I could find it.. I also have read about a few 3 legged chicks as well. This is so interesting.. I love the odd ball animals.. Like extra toed cats..
After the obvious WOW.. I have to ask something's just out of curiosity..
I think we all know that when environments change the first thing that shows it is reptiles and amphibians.. frogs to be more precis. birds are a relative of reptiles, some argue that they still are..
So.. here is my questions.. how close to power lines etc do you live? What feed have you used? Were the parents pure bred? line bred? or cross bred? I would say the cause is more environmental or feed related then breeding.
I would also send pics to your local UV as they do enjoy studying these things and they do show environmental effects that would also be of interest to the University.
