I went to take the kiddos out of the tractor this evening and there was my first egg. The girls are only 13 weeks 5 days old!

Perfect huge brown egg. Now to determine which of the 5 laid it. LOL I was not expecting eggs until around 18 - 20 weeks old.

I got a picture of it and will upload tomorrow.

Picture added : Duck egg on right and large chicken egg on the left for comparison. it is perfect and a nice brown color.

Until almost 2 weeks ago, they were on a mix of equal parts of organic chick starter and turkey/gamebird starter. I just switched them to Flock Raiser. Plus they get greens and goodies every day.

duckface once they start laying a good layer pellet and oyster shell for calcium is a good thing. Greens every day like spinach leaves, froen peas thawed, tomatoe slices.

Wifezilla...make sure it has meat and roasted tomatoes...they love those.
