WOW! Hatched and shipped this morning and here by 1 pm!

Mt. Healthy did a great job - the box had bedding and was INSULATED! YES! Insulated! (and not with peanut roo's either!) They were packed wonderfully.

I don't know how the USPS did it, but the hatchery shipped the chicks this morning - they are near Cinncinatti - I am between Huntington and Charleston, WV. (4 hours away) I got my call from the Post office at 1 pm!!! Awesome! I am near a large USPS processing center, that must have helped. Post Master told me they were flown in to Huntington and brought straight down! KUDO's!!

So all 15 are in great shape. One baby (the runt) still has one eye closed... any suggestions?

They are eating, drinking, starting to poo and running! So glad they arrived safe and sound!! It's still early so I am hoping I don't lose any.

I have 6 Aracauna's, 4 Jersey Giants and 5 Plymouth Barred Rocks. Here's some pics!

Here's the brooder.. the lamp does not stay where it is.. just outta the way for the pic. It hangs directly over the top. Thanks to Mountaineer Packaging for the box! It's perfect!

I see someone already noticed the Fiestaware. LOL Perfect.

And these little sweeties -- too too adorable. I want to order from Mt. Healthy -- I live very nearby -- but they don't have Cochin. I want EE, SS, Light or Buff Brahma and Cochin. Mt. Healthy has everything but the Cochin. I am trying to figure out how to get all the babies I want on the same day or two so they'll like each other.

I'm glad yours got there fast and safe.

I've ordered from them and I'm about 4 hours away in the other direction. That is awesome that they got them to you so quick! Lovely fiestaware! My chickens enjoy mine still to this day in their coop.

I can't get the kids to quit taking it out there! Nothing angers me more than seeing my retired fiestaware pieces covered in Poo on the coop floor.
