Wow I was shocked! First egg today

My newer hens are almost 18 weeks and was so shocked to find a small egg tonight.It was soft shelled but still and egg to me..lol.Guess I'll change the food in the morning.Now that the girl are ladies now..lol

Congrats I remember the day I got my first egg, I was so Happy!!!
Actually we got 2 but I think thats because I wasn't looking for any eggs because I didn't think they were ready to lay so I think one was from the day before

well our second egg was the same as the first.
soft and broken.

We had a soft first egg too. The next day I put out some oyster shell and the following eggs have been good.

they have oyster shell too.
gave it to them yesterday.
so i am thinking in a few
days they will be good eggs.
