Wow. It's cold, but the sun is shining!

Its been pretty insane! Today it cleared up for the first time in a few days. Then out of no where we heard thunder and it started POURING, then hail came down bigger than an eraser on a pencil. I was at school and scared to death to drive home!

I work 38 miles from home....it just took me 3.5 hours to get home! Snow in the higher elevations have made the roads slick and a mess (plus the freeway is steep to get over the pass, so that makes it worse)!

Hope Phoenix isn't too flooded! Stay safe and dry!

The Weather Chanel says we up in the mountains of New Mexico will only get rain and snow showers.

But wowsers, look at that! Stay safe, everyone!

See the "stow" on the far left side? It is really "Barstow". A couple of us live just south of there (by ~40 miles or something like that). These series of storms are crazy!

Mahonri, isn't Phoenix in a "bowl"? There must be some pretty flooded areas in your area!

rain rain rain! Wanna hear something ridiculous? AAALLLL my bosses flew to OC earlier this week for the year end meeting. My immediate supervisor was supposed to fly, but he decided to drive at 2pm yesterday. He FINALLY got there around 11pm. We BEGGED him not to go---last time they all did this, thier hotel was hit with a tornado! A few years ago they got rained in by a hurricane!

I think the good Lord does NOT like big partner meetings.

My rooster looks liked a drowned rat You think they would have sense to get out of the rain and my back yard has big puddles everywhere.

Love the rain but not when you have to go out in it.

We had no power from 6:30 pm to 2:42 am. And it dropped about 6 inches at my place. It was ok this morning to drive, just waiting to see what the day brings.
