Hoarding Regulations in America
Posted April 24th, 2008 by alienlve
main stream media today is covering the current issues involving the "hoarding" of food in the states, implying that government will have to step in at some point in the near future and put enforcement into effect....here we go! i pulled up search pages but can not find actual limits, i seem to remember reading once that we were allowed a five day supply of food, but not any more than that.also how do they enforce...???home inspections???of course with martial law they will be doing house to house checks anyhow and can under martial law "rules" confiscate all our food....that much i know, that's why i always tell people, get your supplies, store in airtight containers and HIDE them......is anyone here aware of hoarding limits ??

Even if that were true, they really can't do anything about the people who, at their church's heeding, store 2 years of food and supplies back, without treading on their constitutional rights (which seem to be eroding, from my perspective)

If you read the entire article on the first link, it sounds pretty unlikely that the Executive Order on hoarding would ever be implemented. That it would only be used in dire emergencies. I don't really think we should be worrying about this when there are many other pressing issues that are affecting us in the here and now.

Thanks, JennsPeeps, for that clarification and for being a voice of reason.
