I had a chick hatch that was covered in sticky stuff too and she has a leg that doesn't work right as well. She hatched without help surprisingly, but the baindaid didn't work even though I kept trying. She's about a month old now and keeping up with the other chicks just fine. Hope your little chick makes it!
