Wow! There is lots of Poop!

I never could have imagined how much poo can come from 19 chicks! Wow!!! I can't wait until I can put them in pine shavings. The papertowels don't last but a second until someone waddles over and......you know!

Being a new chicken owner is much like being a parent for the first time! I worry about food, sleep, and poo!

I've always put my two day olds (that's when I get them from feed store) straight into pine shavings. Just a thin layer though.
