Wow! these meats are really... meaty!

We cook ours often like that, a little garlic and marinade in white wine for a couple hours.

but in an unexpected turn of events i had to abandoned my post here in the kitchen - i've been pulling the meat from the stock and portioning it for the freezer (all the while being swarmed by cats..) because TZ our tom turk was attacking our old lady one eyed dog! no really! he had her bad!

good thing dog#1 is on the job - he and i rushed into the pen - unarmed, typically a bad move,.... the dog held him off while i rescued the victim.

for heavens sakes! its tuesday - a little peace people???

back to portioning my stock. i have to say i'm sold on these meats!! hum... wonder if i put BBQ sauce and coleslaw on a sandwich bun with some of this meat.... hee hee wonder if any of it will make it to the freezer!?!!

Fresh chicken is always better when it's not 4-16% brine.

I miss really fresh meat!
