Wow this ginormous egg had to hurt! UPDATE!!! 3 in a row. Normal???

my white chinese goose had quit laying for 2 days and i figured she had finaly stopped for the season. then DH and I went out this morning and found the egg on the right!

wowza! That had to hurt. it was 3" long at least. the eggs in the carton are call ducks on the top and duck and goose. next to the ginormous one.

Laid this morning December 23, 2008 Ouch again!

I candled it but I could not tell, I would say a double yolker. It is double the weight of the other one. I told DD that is why she was so grouchy the last couple days. Having to pass that thing out!!!

I got an egg once from one of my hens that was almost twice the size of her normal ones. Since mine are in a coop in my garage I hear them laying and I heard her being extra loud that day, poor thing. Mine was a double yolker bet yours is also
