Wow this ginormous egg had to hurt! UPDATE!!! 3 in a row. Normal???

We used to have an aracauna that would lay eggs not nearly that big, and we thought they were huge!

She gets the award for the day! Funny thing is, I thought she had not laid again but she had that egg burried about 8" in the straw. I thougth when I did not see anything, that I better dig around a bit and see and voila, there it was and was and was.... OUCH that hurts! Poor thing! She tried to hide it from eagle eye majors but NOPE.... We will see if maybe that is what she is gonna start laying from now on or what.

I think DH went out and sweet talked in her ear telling her he wanted one big egg for an omlet every morning and she loves him.

I am thinking this might be her normal size of her eggs. We have 3 in the house now. OMG still hurts!!!!
