I havent been around much... Got alot of emails I hope I responded to everyone..
Basically My father in law had several heart attacks, Scared us all real good. Hes doing fine but still has to do more tests and such. He spent 3 days in Cardiac ICu then another day in the "watch" cardiac unit.. everyone was so glad for him to come home..
Hes a big part of our family and it would have really been bad if we had lost him...
Then Grandma who I take care of and lives on our property in a house we put here for her.. Is moving... to town. Good and bad but over all Im sure she will just love her new place. She will be right in the thick with her old high school girlfriends. She gets lonely up here and she will probably really enjoy her new apartment and having friends close by. Well at least for a little while anyway LOL..
So we are all spending this Sat loading all our trucks and trailers with her stuff.. Have NO clue how she is going to stuff all she has into an apartment but I guess shell figure something out.. Only bad thing is now we have to rent that house to a stranger UGH.. Kinda hoping Father in Law will move in.. He mentioned it but not sure yet if he really will. I sorta voted for bull dozing the house because I like my privacy, but the income would be nice..
AND the taxidermy business seems to be taking off pretty good
Since downsizing the birds I have more time to devote to it, and now with Grandma gone Ill REALLy have alot of time avail. Deer season is under way and from now until Feb I will either being mounting or out hunting
Man I love this time of year.. Hate the weather but love the hunting season LOL.. We are trying to put up a shop for me (24x50 yippee) but we will have to see how that goes. Im crossing my fingers
I want to thank everyone who bought all the birds and equipment I offered for sale. I hope you are all real happy with everything.
Ill be posting some more birds in the for sale/trade section.. Some are free some are for sale.
Alot of people sent emails saying how sorry they were I was getting out of birds, So let me clear that up.. I did NOT get out of birds.. I simply downsized to a much smaller flock.. My downsizing is just alot bigger than most because I had so many birds LOL.. I sold off around 500 birds that last few months and Lord only knows all the equipment that went...
I still have my Sportsman, but down to only 4 or 5 brooders. Next spring I will have eggs and chicks/poults/ducklings/goslings avail as usual just not he huge variety I had before.
Anyhow I will be in and out and If I missed your email please dont think Im ignoring you, It probably just got lost in with all the rest or I havent gotten to it yet.
