I had 10 Coturnix quail hatch over 12 hours on Sunday (Day 18). Anyway had 11 eggs left in incubator, and hadn't got around to turning it off and removing the eggs as i have had a busy week. So today (fours day later) i go to clean the incubator and there is a quail chick sitting obviously hatch overnight as it has dried out! I am truly amazed at how hardy these little guys are. I had a big temp spike on day 16 so had not expected a good hatch, plus these were shipped eggs of which 3 did not survive shipping and were broken.
