Lovely to see. I do like him, out of all the ones we looked through he looked the most like Kong, plus some improvements.
Is the other boy you kept one of the same batch we sorted through or the younger set?

What was it? Year before last, I had that Y/O boy til last. He was Momma's and I hatched Chloe from also.
This boy is Chloe's.

I really like him. I know I ranked him below some others, but his resemblance to Kong kind of gives a continuity despite his improvements. I guess he lives up to his name.

Did the other boys from his lot end up with faults, or did you just personally prefer him? (Either way I think you made the best call.)

Just personal preference. I really liked his copper overall compared to the others and at the time he was the only boy from W/R that passed last summer. I've got some eggs in this next hatch that I'm separating out from a couple hens to keep and grow out. Hopefully I'll get a few boys to grow out that are still Kongs progeny.
