Mother/Daughter simultaneous hatches.

Mommas eggs started hatching yesterday and Chloes eggs are hatching today under Lil Black in Poppy's coop. 3 so far of the 4 eggs. The 2 of Poppy x Solo (Silvers) haven't pipped yet, 1 looks good but the other doesn't but left them both under her.

The first pullet is interesting with the blacker and paler patches. I’m a fan of the paler shade of blue bantambirds line has with the silver.
Very nice, can’t wait for them to lay you hundreds of eggs you will undoubtedly hatch!

Yes, I love that contrast between the 2 shades she has. I need to get much better pics to show off the white... the over the back pic of the big Blue Silver guy's hackles is the closest that really shows it.

P/G's hatch Sunday was 5 of Momma's egg with a 6th hatching on Tuesday out of her 10 eggs. This didn't work out too well as by then, she wanted off the nest and the sixth little wasn't fully ready. I decided Wednesday to pull the little one, banded her and shoved her under another broody. More on that later, but I'm not too keen on adding that second day egg after setting anymore unless I really need to. She's ventured out into the yard once but since then she's been keeping them in the run with Angel and her 3 Cemanis.

The Ayam Cemanis look like baby crows.

Lil Black's hatch was Monday. She had 2 Solo and 4 Chloe (Mommas only daughter) eggs and hatched 3 of Chloes.

This is the 4th attempt and fail for Poppy x Solo. Solo is now molting, so no eggs but when she starts laying again, I'm going to collect for one final hatch. Need to figure out what's going on here with Poppy.
