Writing a paper about chickens....need help

Hubby is writing a paper, and he needs a cite from the USDA about cage free and free range regulations. Does anyone know where the heck to find those regs? I'm searching the site right now and can't find them anywhere! He's trying to write about how farm fresh is better than store bought.....Thanks!
