Writing on eggs

One thing with pencil though, if you are marking eggs that a hen is or will be sitting on, the pencil will be rubbed off. So you're better off using a marker for them

I mark my eggs with the date I set them in Sharpie.

Works great and the eggs isn't effected.

I use a pencil.

i use color pencils... i also use colors based on the birds... LOL... blue for my blues, blue/gray for the lavendars, brown for the mille fleurs and so on... HAHAHA... i use like 8 different color pencils... and if i don't know, i just use black...



i'm such a nerd...


i also use prisma color pencils because they are softer... they're a dollar a piece, but worth it IMO...
