I had 4 chicks pip early (day 18 and 19) 3 have hatched, 1 piped on the pointy end of the shell, after half a day of no progress I flecked off the parts it already broke just to see if I could tell if it was alive or shrink wrapped, its alive and I don't think its shrink wrapped, so I put it back and left it, now its been just over 24 hours with no progress, I checked again, still alive not shrink wrapped, so I picked off a tiny bit more shell hoping it would help, it bled a tiny bit though, so I am worried to try to pick any more off. It was just a tiny drop but I don't want to hurt it, but I don't want it to die because its stuck. Also I have 6 more eggs that haven't pipped, should I just give them more time? All the ones that did were my smaller breed birds and none of the bigger ones.
