that is what I too would advise...
you should have on hand in your emergency kit electrolytes/vit mix for birds (though the electrolytes should only be given in times of obvious stress or dehydration danger)... if she is drinking sufficiently then give her a good general poultry nutritional/vitamin supplement (I reccomend Avia Charge 2000 as it is one of the few complete supplements I know of>you can order it online from McMurry or Strombergs) if you cannot get the AviaCharge then check at your feed store for one of the RoosterBooster vitamin supplements. In addition to this you can give POLYVISOL (childrens liquid A-B-D vitamin) >three drops ever day for a week then taper off...
 
Thanks guys, would you pick up an electrolyte solution at a livestock store or a large animal vet clinic?
 
any livestock feed supply should have them though you could also look in your petstore in the bird section... I use the one sold for racing pigeons as they come in little packets that you just add a liter of water to ...
