Wrong hobby for impatient people lol

My chicks hatched a week ago. My only duck chick is due today. Pipped yesterday afternoon. Of course I am willing it to "get the lead out"! This morning a lil bigger pip but no visible baby parts yet. I have 14 duck eggs ready to set but need this lil sweetie to get done first so I can clean the.bator from this hatch. If it doesn't hatch today I'll have more duck eggs to add and my hubby is already thinking he wants to sell me to make money for a coop addition lol.

My chicks were not as slow as this duck baby. They pipped n zipped and were out like a flash. 20 hours since it pipped externally and I'm staring at it like it's the only thing on my to-do list today lol. I need a hobby that takes less patience! AAAARGH! Lmao

No joke there! This puppy should keep me busy. So should the 900 other things I have to do lol. Just watching ducky close since it's had a lot of chicks and then opening bator to remove chicks and such. Managed to maintain humidity and temps very well though! Just want to keep a close eye in case I shrink wrapped it or something awful. Guess I'll go do some dishes lol

Well we are finally zipping. In the slowest...possible...manner. But at least now I know for sure not shrink-wrapped and plenty of air access now. That first pip was so tiny and made me nervous after 18+ hours like that!

Nah he's doing well and chatters with me when I talk to him. He definately has Rouen coloring. I do have a pair of Rouens but this could be Rouen over Rouen, Rouen over KC or a very slim chance Rouen over F/W runner but don't think my runner is laying yet.
