Wrong way pip duckling 25 days

Hi so set my ducklings in to lock down today an just noticed 1 has pipped the pointy end on the underneath what do i do

Your duck egg is externally pipped on day 25? Were your temps running high?

The duckling will need more time to hatch since it's emerging from the wrong end...plus, day 25 is early. Should you decide that intervention is later needed, @Pyxis's Guide to Assisted Hatching for All Poultry is a great resource. There's a section in there specifically about pips in the wrong end of the egg.

Yes day 25 /26 . Temp been consistant 37.5 all way my other egg has internally pipped ..
So is this 1 not gunna make it then ?

You'll need to keep an eye on it, but it could hatch fine on its own.

It looks sticky near the hole like its beak is stuck on side do i help yet ?
