Hi Guys

I have a newly hatch chick who seems to have spomething called wry neck? Its not something i have come across before and i have no idea what to do.

All i can find on internet searches is to feed through a syringe for upto a week - but what would i feed a newly hatched chick? the intternet site i have found says that this can sometimes give it time to right itself.
Do you think that is true in a new chick? Could it have happened in hatching? Or do you think it is genetic and that it won't revover?

Thanks

I had a cochin with wry neck. I got Vitamin B12 drops at walmart (they come in a bottle with a dropper cap) and gave him a few drops 2 times a day. He got better with in a week. Don't know if I was just lucky, but he wasn't getting better before I gave him the vitamin B drops. It wasn't very scientific, and I honestly don't have any specific amount that I gave him at a time. I didn't load him up on it, but I gave him maybe a 1/2 cc 2 times a day... He is still just fine and dandy out with the rest of the chicks, and that was back in the beginning of february
