I see so much info on wry neck in chicks but not older birds./ I have a two year old bantam brown leghorn and last night she was all fluffed up, which I didnt think a ton of as it is getting colder out. But then as she came up to me, she was turning her neck funny. Worried about her as she is my daughters favorite. What shouldl I do for her? Take her into garage in dog kennel and heat lamp>? any meds or what can you do for her?
thanks for hte advice!

It could be wry neck. I'd isolate her from the other birds, and start giving her vitamins. Vitamin deficiencies aren't the only things that can cause wry neck. Are there any other symptoms? Newcastle disease and Marek's Disease are two diseases that can cause twisting of the neck. Botulism poisoning may also cause wry neck, as well as other paralysis.
