Wry Neck or Ear Infection or ????

Ok at first I thought my little silkie roo who is @ 4 1/2 wks ( I think it's a roo) had wry neck. He tilts his head to the right to the point that he looks like he's trying to scratch the top of his head on the ground. He also acts like he's trying to scratch it with his foot he also keeps the right eye closed a lot. So I thought maybe wry neck, but all that I've read about it on here describes a weak chick that won't hold it's head up to eat etc. But he is really strong and holds his head up to eat and drink just fine , well a very slight tilt of his head. He scratches around looking for food etc. Ears seem fine, they're dry nothing coming from them and they look clean and dry. So I started him on vitamins and electrolytes in his water. Any ideas or thoughts ? Wry neck or ear infection?
