Wry neck or more

My 5 .month old pullet stayed in a nesting box yesterday and I assumed it was due to getting familiar thinking it was possibly close to her egg laying time.This am she couldnt use her neck she was walking with her neck lumpy and her beak dragging.A gee moments later I found her all balled up and appeared dead.I rushed her for medical and it appears wry neck.I was in shock and learned nothing ! I was only attempting to save her.She is back home testing inside my chicken hospital (laundry room).after getting 2 pills a syringe full of corid? B12 and steroid she perked.Now she is sleeping nonstop .I am told give her the b12 and water every 15- 30 mts.How did this haooen so fast? And do I give corid daily? Noone gets me .She is not just a chicken SHE IS MY PET

Calm down I understand you’re nervous, but that won’t help your sweet girl. Mine are pets as well, and I learned the hard way not to freak out. I tagged some experts that will help you out. Wry neck is not a massive deal. I think she will turn out ok. I don’t get the corid though.

Wry neck is usually caused by a vitamin e and selenium deficiency.

No problem. Lots of things can happen to chickens, and it’s super scary, especially when there is no vet around. I am confident she will get better.

I feel so bad.But I am continuing the b12 diluted with water? I also didnt understand diluting the b12

I’m not good with medicine doses. Thats why I tagged those people.

Whay shouldi be giving her other than rooster booster and b12.or should I be only giving her the rooster booster orally and not b12
