Wry Neck Q

How long do you have to give a silkie Vit E with Selenium to see a change with wry neck? Once the bird is better does it go back to normal? Will it reaccur?

I have BO with this problem and treated her with Vitamins when she was younger. Did not work, but she is just fine now. She can eat and drink and we named her crooked neck.

There arent any other symptoms. It is about 3 months old and just started about a week ago. Its not bad, but noticable. I am giving 400 vit E, 50 selemium gel vitamins twice a day

I don't give my crook neck girl that much E when I have to dose her. Too much can be as bad as none.

Mine suffered a head injury quite a few years ago, she has never straightened back out completely. And is always the first one to show the signs of a problem with the feed.
