I feel like I post here every other week :( My two year old silkie hen has been showing wry neck symptoms for about two weeks. She is holding her head way back against the middle of her back and her neck feels almost S shaped. I brought her into the garage and have been giving her water with a dropper with vitamin e and poultry vitamins and sugar in it. She has lost a lot of weight and feels like just skin and bones. If i hold her she will peck at food and eat some and I have seen her eating when shes laying down. I noticed that she hasn't been pooping until when I was holding her she shot out some green diarrhea that smells awful. This is gross but it shot out like a stream. I have been holding her and doing physical therapy with her neck. She doesn't really walk anymore she just flops around and cant control where shes going. Is there anything else I can do for her? Should I keep her in a sling that keeps her standing up? If so how can I make one?:hit

When I had to treat my newly hatched chick with wry neck I mixed together in a small bowl of cinnamon melted down children's vitamin And water. Mixed it together and gave it with a child medicine syringe. It got Better within hours. But thats not always the cause. I hope this helps. An good luck!
