Wry neck?

Friday, 3 week old chick was fine, Saturday morning couldn't lift her neck much, not moving around either. (Still managed to get to the water and food.) Started her on electrolytes/vitamins and by now she's better /can lift her head/ moving around fine, still eating and drinking, but every so often she'll have an episode where she tucks her head and runs backwards. Almost looks like a spasm. She hadn't been doing that much today, but when my husband gave them their egg treat, she did it maybe 4-5 times in a short time span.

You did the wise thing to start her on vitamins. In addition to those, try squeezing the oil from a vitamin E capsule into her mouth or onto her food. If you can get some selenium, give her a very tiny crumble from a tablet each day for a week. Do the vitamin E twice a day for a week.

I just feel for her when she has one of the episodes. It's great she's perked up, but those aren't going away like we'd hope. But def. keeping her on all the supplements.
