Wry Tail

Can wry tail be a result of a vitamin deficiency similar to wry neck? My pullet's tail only turns occasionally...

I did a lot of reading last year on wry tail, and the best opinions I could find is that it is hereditary, and not to breed that bird. My breeder's other chickens did not have it, but since my rooster has it,the gene got passed down the line somewhere.
