Ok I set 6 eggs from our roo who was 4 months at the time! 2 were not fertile so out they went! Another one died early on about day 11 or 13. That left me 3 eggs. I 've been trying a new method of hatchin duck and chicken together.
Well my results thus far are....
day 23 and nothing no pipps, no peeping, no movement, NADDA!!
Day 24 chick #1 hatches, and I let the other eggs go in the bator.
Today is day 25 I decide to call it good on the chicken eggs and start preparing for lockdown on my duck eggs. I get the eggs out, adjust my humidity back to 70%, and start to head to the kitchen for a flashlight to candle. The eggs start peeping at me!! At first I thought I was hearing things! BUT THEY ARE PEEPING!! So hopefully they can still hatch, and right back in the bator they went. Thankfully i'm in AZ and it's super hot in my house right now so the temp is fine, lets hope the humidity part doesn't get em!
So here's to hoping they hatch, and I go into lockdown again on Friday for the duck eggs! So i'm leaving my house now to avoid the temptation of messing with the last two eggs! lol
