I know it's a shot in the dark but DH says I can get 1 more hen for Franklin. I really, really want a BC Marans. I wouldn't mind getting eggs but he says he would rather not have more chicks in the house and then have to listen to me about having too many cockerels. I would be willing to drive a few hours to get one. Let me know if anyone has one PLEASE! Oh, and I don't want to do day old chicks either, I'll end up with more boys than I'll know what to do with.

How much are you willing to pay? I have chicken hook ups at big time sells that have breeds like that. I just dont feel like paying the price mainly because i dont feel like putting to much money in just the chicken but let me know and i will give them a call!

Thats just it. Most people want big bucks for their marans. I was hoping some one on here would help out another BYC'er. I don't want to pay more than say, $20 or so.
