I live in Dayton Ohio, but was just visiting my Dad in Fort Pierce Florida and showed him the pictures of my beautiful colored eggs from my americana's and now he wants a few for his farm. He has a beautiful barn, with just 2 other hens and some cats, dogs, horses, a great place to be an animal. Anyway, I hate to order a bunch of chicks when he really only wants 3 or 4 of them. Does anyone know anyone in that area that would have some to sell? Even if they aren't really small babies, that would be great. I'm more than happy to pay for them if someone has some. Thanks!!

try your local Craigslist. You may find a small breeder within driving distance.
Or, you can try mypetchicken.com. they will ship small orders, but the shipping may be high.
I have ordered from them and was very satisfied.
